Coach Callie Helminger
Callie Helminger is a native of Random Lake Wisconsin. She attended UW- Stout for her first two years of undergraduate study in health wellness and fitness. She decided to continue her studies by transferring to Colorado Mesa University (CMU) in the fall of 2017 to follow her dream of obtaining a degree in exercise science. She also plans on continuing study after her undergraduate with a masters in exercise physiology.
She currently works at Mesa Fitness in Grand Junction, CO while attending CMU.
Callie has spent her lifetime participating in an array of sports from soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, rugby, and is now pursuing the new sport of powerlifting/competitive lifting. While
in high school Callie was a varsity athlete all four years and was regularly recognized for her athletic ability. She captained her softball, volleyball, and basketball teams, and was awarded
multiple conference awards.
Callie hopes in the near future to complete her CPT (certified personal trainer) exam, and build off that by becoming a certified strength and conditioning coach through NASM and NSCA. She hopes to one day work with athletes from the high school to professional level.
She is actively seeking athletic minded companies to partner with as a brand ambassador.
